Aus Pet Sunday 21st of October 2018

Karen and I went to Aus Pet 2018 we saw lots of different things. We saw lots of dogs, we ran into our old friends Didga and Boomer the skateboard riding cats, we learned how Police dogs operate, saw a dog grooming workshop, dog agility competition, reptile show, lots of different ways to set up a fish tank. There was also a petting zoo and it had baby ducks, chickens, pigs, goats, a donkey and a really colourful miniature pony. We also saw a wedge-tail eagle which was really cool Karen and I got a few photo's with it and last but not least we got to meet Shelley Craft and I was able to get a photo with her she was really lovely. https://www.facebook.com/ShelleyCraftOfficialFanPage/ http://sanctuaryrefuge.com.au/ http://yummipet.com.au/ https://www.facebook.com/poochesatplay/ https://furrylegs.com/ https://www.kittykitchen.com.au/ https://www.facebook.com/internationaldogtrainingschool/ http://www.reptileone.com.au/home https://www.facebook.com/karen.tuesley.7/pos

Samantha Jade Concert 2018

Early in September Karen and I embarked on an adventure to see Samantha Jade at Twin Towns in Coolangatta. When we arrived we purchased drinks I got a Pepsi and so did Karen. So after getting our drinks we headed up to the show room and waited for the first half of the concert to begin. Her support act was Alfie Arcuri who performed for 20 minutes singing a few of his origional songs and some covers of other musicians songs. He had a very lovely voice. After Alfie finished up there was a short break in which we were chatting to the security gaurds who had a bit of a funny sense of humour before Samantha Jade came on stage. Samantha Jade came on for her first set and did a mixture of both her songs and covers of other musicians such as ABBA, Destiny's Child, Pink to name a few. Then the first half of the show ended and Karen and I went to get some dessert. We ended up getting a sundae each which were massive. they were awesome but made us a little sick from the sugar high. We

Katy Perry Wednesday the 8th of August 2018

Image
Our Katy Perry travel adventure started at precisely 3pm on Wednesday the 8th of August, 2018. Upon leaving home, Tegan and I ventured up to the motel we were staying at, which was the Aspley Carsel Motor Inn, located on Gympie Road in Carseldine. Our reason for picking this motel came down to the fact that it was the first option to come up on google offering a disabled accessible room, and it was only 13 minutes from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre! We arrived at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre (BCE) at approximately 6pm, after having checked in at the motel and stopping at Red Rooster for some dinner. However, it took us a little longer than it should have to get to the correct car park, because Tegan kept going the wrong way. After arriving inside, and having paid for our parking, we were allowed to take our seats at 6:45pm, getting us ready for the 7:30pm start, but it didn't start at 7:30pm, it was 8pm by the time the opening act graced us with his presence, the ope

Murwillumbah Art Trail 2018

Image
My experience at the Murwillumbah art trail was a pleasurable one except for the lack of disabled accessibility throughout the town of Murwillumbah. I a very grateful to everyone that purchased my art throughout the course of the art trail, and I would like to give a special thanks to the Murwillumbah Lifebridge hub for exhibiting my art.Throughout the 9 day event I visited Murwillumbah twice and over the course of these 9days I sold a total of 6 paintings, of which I ended up making $395.00 of which I am happy to say, $95 was sent of leisure shopping and the other $300 went into savings. So you could say that my savings account is somewhat smiling that the moment. In conjunction with selling my art at the Murwillumbah Lifebridge hub I hope to eventually have a market stall somewhere on which we will focus on selling my acrylic pouring and crayon art, with my cousin who also plans to sell her photography and Sarah Menyweather who has a number of swimwear items to sell. If your looki

Sorry I haven't been updating my Blog.

The last few months have been somewhat hectic and especially March, as my family have been grieving due to the passing of my dearly beloved grandfather Laurie Shiells. Will hope to be uploading more posts to my blog within the coming months of this year, but at this stage I can not tell how long it will be between posts. So please bare with me during this time and stay patient! Because the next post is going to be awesome! There is a chance I will be involved in the Murwillumbah Art Trail in May this year, so keep an eye out for my art if you are around the area! Thanks, Stephanie.
