The lord of the dance Wednesday the 3rd of September

It has been a while my readers!

In this blog you will find artistic flare but beware it didn't come cheap. Our adventure started at 4:30pm when Alice turned up in her version of the big red car. Shortly after Alice's swift arrival, we got bucled in to the Volkswagen and off we went with Julia along for the ride as well. Upon our arrival to our destination of Brisbane Entertainment Centre, the first thing I did was buy a program.  After snatching up a program, we were ushered to our seats where we were to watch feet for the next hour and a half with a 20min interval. But in hindsight, it was a very special show because it was choregraphed by Micheal Flatley. I initially thought he would be in the show but alas he didn't make a surprise physical appearance.  He was however, featured in a video that was partway through the performance. The video introduced us to how he started to become the dancer that he is today.

Now I will raddle off a few things that you will only find if you bought the program.

Micheal Flatley was the creator, producer, director and choreographer of The Lord of the Dance show. In the Guiness Book of World Records, he is known to be the highest paid dancer as well as having the highest insurance policy on his legs.

Personally, I have followed Michael Flatley since I was young through the influence of my mum. I believe we might still have The Lord of the Dance and Feet of Flames on VHS somewhere.

On the 4th of July 2015, Micheal Flatley participated in his last UK performance at Wembley Arena. To honour him and recognise his career of record-breaking performances at this venue, he was invited to cast his feet for the Arena's "Square of Fame". Fun fact, when Lord of the Dance initially came out on video, I would have been 2 or turning two in that year - because i was born in 1993 and Lord of the Dance came out in 1995 in accordance with Google that is. Then Feet of Flames came out in 1998, which I would have been 5 or turnng 5 . It does nto feel like that long ago that the masterpieces were made. In any case, I definitely want to rewatch them somehow. Although getting a VHS player theses days would be very difficult because they are not as commonly found anymore. That's why when i saw the tickets to this show, I jumped at the opportunity to snatch some tickets. I wanted the chance to see Michael Flatley, not knowing that he had finised performing ten years ago. But in any case, I had a phenomenal time at the Lord of the Dance and I think my carers did as well. We bounded out of the arena with a skip and hop to the steps of which led us home. But, due to being a wheelchair user, I had to take the elevator. So while Julia was supposedly skipping down the stairs, we had to wait a while for the elevator to take us down to the ground - where we made it home by midnight thanks to the huge amount of traffic exitig  the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

And alas for my readers, until next time - which acually I am hoping is tomorrow. I will leave you with thoughts of Micheal and his dance crew.

If you find any spelling mistakes in this one please do not hesitate to let me know, as for some reason my Grammarly has signed off for the day.
