Brisbane Dog Lovers Show Saturday the 4th of November 2017

Image
Our adventure to the Brisbane Dog Lovers Show began at precisely 10 am New South Wales time and 9 am Queensland time on Saturday the 4th of November. While on the way there, we had to stop to get fuel at Coomera petrol station, within half an our of doing that we reached the RNA Showgrounds in Brisbane, where the show was being held. The first thing we did when we got there was take a look around the Royal Canin Arena, before proceeding to go through the doors where were were greeted with what seemed like a million dog loving people, with their beautiful show worthy pooches of all different breeds, like Dachshunds, Poodles, English Sheepdogs, Fox Terriers, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, and pretty much every dog you could think of! We watched a show about training your dogs to do all different tricks such as, roll over, spin around, shake, pray, play dead, beg, hide face under paw, cross front paws, all without saying any commands just using hand gestures, how cool is that? Then we

Carrara Cat Carnival | Sunday, the 8th of October 2017

Ahoy to everyone out there it was a busy weekend that's for sure because after going to the EB Expo on Saturday I went to the Carrara Cat Carnival on Sunday with a new carer who goes by the name of Karen there isn't really too much to say about this Travel Adventure except I got to meet, hold and pat a variety of different cats throughout the day. Photos of me with the different cats and websites of the stalls that we visited are listed below www.k9photography.com.au http://www.softnsweetragdolls.com www.funkycat.com.au catnip.com.au lisaspetproductsandpetminding (Name of Facebook page)   media_set?set=a.2053204674909859.1073741869.100006610392276&type=3 (Link to Facebook photo album) Thanks Stephanie:)

EB Expo Saturday the 7th of October 2017

So here we are in October and the EB Expo has come and gone and my oh my doesn't time fly when Tegan and I have fun for this Travel Adventure we found ourselves at Broadbeach once we had entered the EB Expo we proceeded by going to the EB and Zing Mega store of which we had to wait a while before entering once we were inside we spent 1 hour looking at, gathering and purchasing our goodies. A shout out to Andrew Marr who was working at the EB Expo and is also my cousin... Additional shout outs go to @ EBGamesAus and @ Robbotron. As Tegan and I found # THEDARKROOM absolutely hilarious. After we had finished watching # THEDARKROOM we proceeded by going to grab a bite to eat and something to drink before going for a quick walk around the gaming arena and then going home. Disabled access at the venue was perfect as least for me anyway because the rail was on the right side of the toilet Thanks Stephanie:)

London Grammar concert on the 23rd of September 2017

What time is it you ask? Well let me just say it's party time with whom you ask? Well none other then the wonderful trio London Grammar.  Our wonderful London Grammar Travel Adventure began precisely at 2P.M. If not before when Tegan and I got in the car to head to none other then the wonderful trio London Grammar. Much to our disgust we didn't end up arriving at Riverstage until 5:20P.M when the concert started at 4P.M which in turn made us an hour and twenty minutes late otherwise it was a great had by both of us. Now we have to deal with the not so fun stuff HaHaHa now I wonder what that could be and it is disabled access it wasn't too bad in regards to the fact that the rail was on the right side but the toilet was only just wide enough for me to reverse back in beside the toilet so if at all possible if I were you I would go to the toilet as least as possible to avoid putting yourself and your carer in a precarious position. On the way home as per usual Tegan and

Avian Husbandry, Rehabilitation and Hand Rearing Course held at (CWS)

This course was held on Saturday the 12th of August and Sunday the 13th of August 2017 Where I met an awesome group of people had a lot of fun throughout the duration of the course my two favorite people in were a lady who was a vet nurse and a young lady who went by the name of Chantal who owned her own bird aviary. Coming from a disabled persons perspective I can't thank Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary enough for being exceedingly accommodating to my needs as I have a physical disability but in saying this I did ring up a month in advance to make sure that I could participate in the course alongside making sure everything was disabled accessible.     My favorite parts of the course were as follows  Day 1  I enjoyed learning about the Anatomy and Physiology of birds followed by the afternoon walk to see the resident cassowaries of which was proceeded by me asking Brett a question about cormorants. Day 2  I enjoyed learning about all the equipment used to treat sick and injure
