The Lost Balloon Thursday 6th of November 10:30 am 2025
Hello again, readers!
This adventure finds us on one mammoth day out of the house. Firstly, Wiesia and I left the house around 8 o'clock to pick up Sofia by 8:30am. And we made our way to Brisbane for the first, but not the last, performance of the day.
So, first, we found ourselves at the Redland Performing Arts Centre, where I was elated to learn we could get tickets to The Lost Balloon. It was a masked theatre performance, meaning there were no spoken words. Everything was done through movement, and it was very uplifting to watch. Another reason I went to see The Lost Balloon was that our Blue Roo director, Clint Bolster, was performing in it, and I wanted to support him in some small way. I was actually amazed that I could still get tickets, considering how late in the game I purchased them. In any case, I was so excited to get my hands on tickets, and once I did, I knew it was going to be a hectic day. Unfortunately, I didn't get to catch a glimpse of Clint before or after the performance, so I couldn't say "Congratulations on a job well done." It was a rather unique performance because I couldn't tell who was who until the end, when they took off all their beautiful masks. Following this performance, I had to do Blue Roo rehearsals before going to Ricky Martin's concert, which I will describe in another blog.
Until next time, my Readers!!
I'll write another blog on the subjects mentioned above soon. So keep an eye out for them :)
Hopefully, The Lost Balloon won't take me to the moon.
