Sydney 2025
Our Sydney Adventure started on June 20, 2025, and finished on June 24, 2025. Over these four days, I was fortunate enough to spend time at SupaNova in Sydney. I was lucky enough to be graced with the presence of Travis Willingham, which, believe me, I was very grateful for. This experience had been a long time coming, as I had been waiting a mammoth 15 years to meet Travis.
Aside from meeting Travis at SupeNova, I didn't purchase many items. I only bought myself a red Minnie Mouse, which these days is tough to come by. Other than this, at SupaNova itself, I also bought food. I was lucky enough to spend my holiday with the lovely Sofia Martinez and the mighty Julia Marr. Now, of course, we have been friends as well as co-workers, and sometimes when I go on holiday, it's a very fine line to balance on. However, 80% of this interaction is positive, and 20% of the time, it usually involves teasing, making jokes, or doing something to someone. But, at the end of the day, Sofia's organisational skills are exceptional and second to none!
On the other hand, Julia's photography and video-making is something to behold and something I will cherish. Although we didn't have too many scribbles, Julia and I were ganging up on Sofia over the four days due to her exceptional organisational skills. But we were just having a bit of fun!
As for Travis, I didn't get to spend as much time with him as I would have liked, because if you've ever been to SupaNova, you know that tickets are required to participate in this part of the event. Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of the hotel we stayed at, which was Quest North Sydney. However, in our quaint little room, we had a lot of fun sitting on our butts (in different ways, of course).
The drive to and from Sydney was a very long and tedious one. By the time we arrived at Quest in Sydney, it was 22:15! We were all exhausted. We didn't start driving until 11:30 a.m. on the 20th. So naturally, what we did when we got to our quaint little room was flop into bed!! And the next day was SupaNova! That was when I got my photo with Travis (which you will hopefully see shortly). In addition to my picture and autograph with Travis (which I paid for), I got to sit in on a Critical Role Q&A, which I knew nothing about, as it was Travis's endeavour with Critical Role. It was an eye-opening experience for me, but I also had no idea what people were talking about. But at least I got more Travis watching time. Since we didn't have much of a chance to speak with one another at the event, I'm a little sad because he was a lovely person. I admire him greatly for his portrayal of Doctor Cunningham from the video game Trauma Team (a game I still play to this day, and I am not afraid to admit it).
The Trauma Centre Series has had a profoundly influential impact on my life, as I spent my early years in numerous hospitals. At first, I was a bit scared and didn't know how to react to the Trauma Centre Series, but one of the most impactful things of my life at the time that Trauma Team came out was that our first play through of Trauma Team was finished two days before I had spinal surgery myself. It was similar to what was featured in the game. Naturally, with what I was about to go through, if it wasn't for Trauma Team, I wouldn't have known what to expect before my surgery. As you can see, I am deeply grateful for the existence of this game in multiple ways. I will continue to attend SupaNova over time, in the hope of meeting the rest of the cast from Trauma Team.

Anyway, to the rest of my Sydney adventure, well, I was where I could be found, at the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. I will link some videos below of my time in Sydney until we next meet without feet!
Regards,
Stephanie
